I’d Patch That

I am honestly so excited that the patch trend is in right now because I am obsessed. They take a plain item and make it your own with a unique design and character! I purchased this skirt at Forever 21 last year and knew it was the perfect skirt to put patches on. I took my time choosing the patches that best represented me and these were the ones I settled on and then spent (roughly 6 hours *eye roll*) sewing them all on. I don’t like iron-on patches mostly because they 1) rarely stay on and 2) will be much more washer safe being sewed on. The “Girl Crew” and “No Thanks” banner were both  in a patch pack from H&M! I bought them while in Savannah with my friends. The “Mas Amor Por Favor” is a patch from Darling Distraction and the $8 proceeds go directly to support Planned Parenthood! I knew that was a must. It combined my love of pink, Spanish, and benefiting social programs. My Frida patch, banana patch, and “I didn’t choose the craft life, the craft life chose me” patch are all from various Etsy stores. The Frida Khalo patch is from ExtremeLargeness, the Banana patch is from FloraCo, and the Craft Life patch is from MiniHouseStudios! Etsy is my go to place for crafting especially patches, pins, and creative items. I hope this post inspires y’all to try out your own crafting abilities!
