Hey guys! It’s me again and I’m back with another post. I’m super excited about this one because it explains what to wear with chunky knit sweaters.
We’re currently in that weird “it’s kind of cold but not really but it’s also hot” stage of the year. I love chunky sweaters and they’re the perfect transitioning pieces from winter to spring!
For this outfit I chose this blush pink chunky sweater from ASOS that is on sale for only $20.00! I paired it with a striped bodysuit, a purple velvet skirt, black ankle boots, and cat eye sunglasses. If you’re going to wear a super heavy sweater, it’s best to pair them with a tighter option underneath.
This striped bodysuit from SheIn is perfect for that! When it comes to my skirt, I am more than obsessed with this. I love velvet so when I saw this at J.Crew I flipped. It’s also great for this outfit because it balances it out! You have the heavy sweater on top and then the peplum of the skirt peeks out underneath and is super adorable. It’s also on final sale right now for less than $25.00!
I’m also a fan of cat-eye sunglasses. They add a chic, Audrey Hepburn flair to any outfit. These were some of the cutest I’ve seen and I bought them from Urban Outfitters for only $10.00! You can purchase them still in this solid black shade or in a gray shade.
Boots are also nice to transition from season to season. I really wanted black chelsea boots but when I saw these ankle boots on ASOS I knew these would be great. They have almost a sock-like middle and upper portion which let them have a closer fit to your ankle/leg which I like. These were also cheap at just $16.00 and they’re still in stock in most sizes!
Here are more photos of how I styled this look! (Excuse my bruise I’m tragically clumsy)
I hope you guys enjoyed this post! As always I appreciate you for reading my posts and don’t forget to subscribe on my main page!
