Style Tip: Colorful Workwear for The Spring and Summer

Hi friends! Long time no see. Today I am excited to bring you this latest fashion post here on Sequins and Sales! Spring is here and summer is fast approaching (at least here in Georgia). Today I wanted to share my latest Style Tip: Colorful Workwear for The Spring and Summer! I bought this cute set before realizing we would be FULLY REMOTE forever, but it’s okay because it’s cute hehe.

This post was requested from a few people when I polled my Instagram audience! I have been thinking about writing a post similar to this for a while, so I knew now was the time to create it. Whether you’re going back into the office, or still working from home, these looks are so cute and the perfect additional to your spring wardrobe.

Matching Pastel Blazer and Pants

I was so excited when this look popped up in my Target search results! I was looking for a cute blazer/pants combo and DIED when I found this one. I love when a blazer is a little bit oversized and this one was like that. It’s also a relatively thin material so it’s not as thick as a wool blazer you might opt for in the wintertime! My favorite detail is the tortoiseshell buttons.

I am always iffy when buying pants because sometimes they do NOT work on people who have hips. I, as well as many people, have gained weight this past year (which is TOTALLY OKAY BTW) so it’s even harder to figure out what size I am in things! I opted for a Small in the blazer and a size 6 in the pants. They fit perfectly! The ruffle waist of the pants and the tie make these one of my new favorites.

Shop The Look

Cropped Tank Top or Cami

When I walked into Target and found a cami that was literally only $3 I thought I misread the tag! I usually don’t go for the cropped tops, but this one I knew would be a staple of my spring and summer wardrobe. I love the fact that it has an almost square neckline! It’s also long enough that it doesn’t show my stomach which is a BIG WIN. Most of the pants and shorts I own are high-waisted so I don’t think this will be a problem!

I also wanted to talk about my earrings in this look! I get almost ALL of my earrings from Target. Every season they come out with so many new styles. They’re also way more affordable than some other places! This pair came in a 3-pack of earrings and they were only $8.49 total. I have worn these with so many variations of looks and the hexagon shape is really unique!

3D Floral Box Clutch

Perhaps my FAVORITE part of this look is my 3D floral box clutch. I grabbed this gorgeous bag from Amazon when I lived in Orlando! I think I want to start finding some more unique bags and clutches to style with looks. It’s really on-brand and I’ve found a ton on Amazon that are chic and affordable. The one I have for this outfit matched perfectly! One of the flowers was the exact same green that my blazer set is.

I knew I had to style them together! My favorite part of this bag is that it has 3D flower details on all sides of the bag. They’re all particular to which side they’re located on! There are also subtle gold details on the handle and amongst the flowers which completes the design to perfection. I linked this bag and a few other fun clutches/handbags below!

Shop Spring Workwear

These are some of my favorite workwear pieces that I’ve found this year! I have been obsessed with the pastel blazer and pants trend. The combo of having a matching set with an alternating top is always something I love to have. For my look in this post, I went with a cropped $3 cami from Target and it’s so comfy! It also worked great with my shoes and bag. Shop some other spring workwear sets below:
