If you’re new here, you won’t know that I’m currently a professional intern with Disney! That means I work a normal 40-hour week and then on the weekends I get to play in the parks to my heart’s content! It’s honestly the best thing ever and I generally go to one park a week.
My friend Tori and I end up going to Epcot almost every weekend and we aren’t sorry about it! The world showcase is absolutely stunning and accurate to that location of the world. It’s even MORE gorgeous now because Disney’s Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is here! There are flowers and topiaries galore.
I knew I wanted to make a post about the Flower and Garden Festival for 2019 because you guys deserve to see all of the gorgeousness as much as anyone else! I tried to get photos of as many topiaries as I could and of the most popular characters. These were taken over the last few weekends and I love every single one of them.
An Insider’s Guide to Disney’s Flower and Garden Festival
My Flower & Garden Inspired Outfit
I first wanted to show you guys my ADORABLE Flower and Garden Festival outfit! I’ve been on the hunt for Disney-esque looks that can work for the heat (because yes it’s already 85-90 degrees most weekend), but are also cute. This adorable little romper is from Amazon and it’s PERFECT for the parks. It’s comfy and will keep you cool!
This little bag is also great for Disney trips/weekends! It’s from Target and the straps can be adjusted from a crossbody to a backpack! It’s wonderful because if you want to give your shoulder a rest, you can quickly convert it into a little backpack. My mickey mouse ears are Epcot Flower & Garden Festival exclusives! I ADORE them sooo much and they look like real flowers.
Butterfly Topiary
I think this photo is hilarious because it’s the pinnacle of America. You have the American flag billowing in the background (LOL). Anyway, this is the first topiary you’ll see when you first walk into Epcot! The main entrance in front of the iconic ball has a little garden with flowers and massive butterfly topiaries like this one!
Daisy Duck Topiary
This next topiary is directly behind the huge spaceship earth Epcot ball! Daisy Duck is seriously the cutest no matter what. It’s no surprise that she’s also cute in topiary form! I love the little pink flower dress they gave her and her chic little bow! There are also some star topiaries behind her too as you can see.
Winnie the Pooh & Friends
The first country we hit is Britain! Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger are here to greet you. Pooh has the classic red balloon that is iconic throughout his adventures with Christopher Robin! This topiary of Pooh is especially adorable because they even managed to get his shirt right!
Tigger is next and his topiary is exactly how he looks as well! It’s so amazing that Disney is able to literally recreate the stripes he has…in flower form! He even has cute little eyes that are the classic shade of white. Tigger is located in Britain as well and his topiary is directly next to Pooh.
This topiary of Piglet and Eeyore is one of my top favorites from the Flower and Garden Festival. Piglet was my favorite character from Winnie the Pooh when I was growing up and it made me soo happy that he was a topiary! My ULTIMATE fav thing about this one is that if you look closely, you can see Piglet’s body is made of succulents!
Teacup Topiary
Across the street in Britain is where the Alice in Wonderland meet and greet is! They stayed completely themed with this and have TEACUP TOPIARIES YALL!! How precious is this. They even have the little Twinnings label! As a tea fanatic (and someone who has very British ancestry), this made my whole world. These are the exact teas you can buy inside the shop it’s next to!
Peter Pan & Captain Hook Topiaries
Across from Alice and the teacups, we have Peter Pan and Captain Hook having one of their iconic battles. Peter Pan has one of the coolest topiaries because they somehow made his tights and hair SOOO realistic! They even got his little hat feather to stand perfectly on top!
Captain Hook’s topiary is extremely impressive too though. The sheer amount of unique flowers represented on his is amazing! The moss they used as the feather is very smart and I adore the accuracy of his look. I mean check out that mustache! Also loving the real hook and sword too.
Miss Piggy Topiary
We’re now moving over to France! Here we have the BEST topiary display of the day to be honest. Not only do they have the amazing Miss Piggy, but they have mirrors that look like vanities AND suitcases made of wood! I also love that they threw in her classic color of pink and her pearls.
The Fashion major in me is dying over these clothing mannequin topiaries. If I could be a topiary it would be Miss Piggy so I could have these next to me *insert heart eye emoji*! I adore how the fringe dress literally looks like fringe and how the pink one on the left has such gorgeous flowers on it!
Beauty & The Beast Topiary
HERE WE HAVE IT. My favorite topiary of all time! I’m sorry I didn’t save the best for last, but I wanted to go country by country! Not only is France my favorite pavilion (the mannequins are amazing), but they gave us this STUNNING Beauty & The Beast topiary for Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival!
Minnie & Mickey Topiary
We then move into “The Land” which is actually just America. They made SUCH a gorgeous topiary of Minnie and Mickey here though that this might be my second favorite! These are a bit smaller than some of the others, but just as cute. I also love the large sunflowers behind them!
Snow White & Dopey Topiaries
We’re now moving on to Germany! Snow White is actually a German film if you didn’t now. I think her topiary is absolutely outstanding! Her dress is so full and literally looks like it’s moving. They also made her little red bow like the one she wears in the movie! If you looks closely at her left wrist, you can see a little lizard too. He was chillin’ there most of the day. I guess he liked this topiary too!
They also made an adorable little Dopey topiary as well! His ears are precious and so is his little work hat. I also love that they made him look like he’s actually on his way to work in the mines. His little pickaxe is super realistic and it looks like he’s really ready to sing “Heigh Ho, Heigh Ho, It’s off to work we go!”
Lion King Topiary
AHHHHHZEBNGYAHHH ALLABEEESEEBABAAAA This Lion King topiary is AMAZING! It’s not technically in a specific country, it’s just in this little bazaar area between Morocco and Japan. This one is stunning to me because of the detail. The way they achieved Mufasa’s mane is awesome. I also love the details in Rafiki and Simba as well!
Elsa & Anna Topiaries
I skipped over Japan because they just had some panda topiaries. We’re now over in Norway with Elsa and Anna and they are great! Elsa is a GORGEOUS topiary and I’m not going to “Let it Go” (I had to). The detail in her hair is so perfect and I can’t get over it. I also love the depth they achieved in her dress!
Anna’s topiary is also great! My only comment is that it kind of looks like she was caught stealing something. Like she was in the kitchen eating cookies her mom just made and she turned around quickly and tried to act innocent. Other than that I LOVE how detailed her hair is too!
Lightning McQueen & Mater Topiaries
Once you head over towards Mission Space, you’ll see Lightning McQueen and Mater! It’s crazy to me how they really made this as realistic as it is. Like look at the teeth y’all! I also think it’s amazing how the wheels actually look like real wheels too. His racing stripe is on the side is also a unique touch!
Look at Mater! You’re lying if he isn’t your favorite character in Cars. He’s just so sweet! This topiary is probably the most detailed besides Captain Hook. The teeth literally look real and all of his metal parts look completely accurate to his character! This one is sure to make you smile.
Goofy Topiary
As you’re leaving Epcot’s World Showcase, you get to see the amazing Goofy Topiary! It’s literally GIANT and the photo doesn’t do it justice. I really wanted to get this one with the Epcot ball in it and I think it looks SOOO Epcot-esque since I did. It also has the cute little flower cards that come with plants which says “Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival” on it!
Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival Food
Now you’re probably thinking…what is there to eat? Well Epcot still has all of it’s classic sit-down and quick-service places you can go for food! That being said, they also have DELICIOUS options specific to the International Flower & Garden Festival!
One treat I KNEW I wanted to try was this little Orange Shortcake. It came with little slices of nectarines on it and a cool orange sauce on top! It also has an edible flower on it too which really makes it a highly themed snack. It was bright and refreshing which was perfect for the hot day.

Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival is literally my favorite because I LOVE plants (even though they make my allergies 80x worse). All of these topiaries make my heart happy and get me more excited for springtime!
