Styling Tiered Pants for the Winter

Hi friends! Today I wanted to share this outfit that I styled last week that I am SO OBSESSED WITH! I threw it together hoping that it would work, and it turned out to be the perfect color combination. I styled these pants in the summertime (see here) and I followed a similar color story when styling it for the cooler months! These are seriously the best pants for winter and can easily transition into the spring or summer too.

In this post I’m going to share these mint colored tiered pants from Chicwish and show you how I styled them! I’m then going to share the other trends I have been loving for the wintertime too. I’ll be rounding up twist back sweaters, rattan bags/purses, and even share some shoes from my capsule collection! If you’re interested in seeing how, keep reading on!

Mint Green Tiered Pants

Chicwish sent me these adorable tiered pants around May of this year! They were styled with the shirt I shared above in my IG post, but I loved these so much that I knew I wanted to style them for winter as well! Finding winter pants for women can sometimes be hard. I feel like my go-to is to always wear jeans, but that quickly gets boring! I took it upon myself to style at least one unique pair of pants for this year.

My favorite part is the natural volume these pants have! They’re flowy and voluminous without trying, and look so great with a low heel. We had an insane amount of wind while shooting this day, so that obviously helped them look fantastic, but regardless, these are a statement piece! I also really appreciate the fact that they’re high waisted. I frankly don’t like wearing pants that are not.

Twist Back Sweater

When I was thinking about how I wanted to style this look, I found this white twist back sweater from LOFT! I bought it when I worked there a few years back and it has been one of my favorite closet staples since. Twist back sweaters are lovely for the winter because if you have a warm holiday season like we usually have in Georgia, it allows you to not completely overheat!

I also think that wearing a twist back sweater gives a sophisticated air to whatever you’re styling. Instead of it just being a bulky sweater (which it’s totally okay if you want to wear that too), you get a little bit more detail! This one is particularly perfect because although the back is low, you can still wear a normal bra. That way nothing is exposed and you can stay comfortable!

Brown Block Heel Sandals

I loveeee everything about block heel sandals! They honestly are a staple in my wardrobe no matter the time of year. As I mentioned above, Georgia rarely gets super cold! The coldest it generally gets during the daytime is mid-fifties, and even then that’s not super cold to me. This paid of block heels is from my collaboration with Inspired Boutique! I will link them below. See my entire capsule collection (here)!

Block heels are the perfect shoe because, if I’m being honest, if my feet are warm my body overheats. Everywhere has the heat on during the wintertime, so it’s really easy for this to happen! Wearing an open back shoe like this one prevents that from happening. This is also a great way for your closet to work for YOU! You can transition summer looks into winter!

Vintage Rattan Bag

The last item I wanted to share was this vintage rattan bag! I love shopping at Final Cut when Im in Augusta. I know I’ve mentioned it in previous posts, but if you’ve never heard of it, it’s an overstock warehouse! They have samples + overstock from Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Free People, and BHLDN. It’s honestly magical and you never know what you’re going to find!

I was so happy to find this chic little bag and I felt like it was the perfect outfit to wear it with. It matches my heels and is the perfect clutch to throw on with any neutral look. I love the retro metal clasp and think it elevates the purse overall! If you’re looking for a neutral bag like this, be sure to check out local thrift stores. I always see bags like this there! Shop some similar ones below.

I adore these tiered Chicwish pants and I have loved styling them for you guys in this post! If you have been looking for a new silouhette of pants for the winter, this is definitely the one you should try out. It’s flattering on all body types, can make your legs look longer if you’re short, and will fit any tall person in length (looking at you sis)! They’re also under $50 so it’s not even that large of an investment.

My sinus issues are finally starting to ease up but I SWEAR every time I go outside I feel like my face gets thicc. Happy for spring, NOT happy for the yellow mist of sadness 😔

I’m not sure if you’ve ever felt like this, bu I’m not sure if you’ve ever felt like this, but at every stage of my life I NEVER think my body is good enough. Wild right?⁣⁣

⁣⁣
I have definitely noticed my body changing A LOT the past two years. I’ve gained weight in some good, and annoying areas, but this is NORMAL.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It’s normal to not have the same body you did when you were 18. So if you were like me, stop beating your self up about it. You are MAGNIFICENT the way you are! ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
This spring/summer I will be sharing outfits I’m comfortable in, but also ones that make me feel CONFIDENT and out of my comfort zone! I’m honestly so excited and hope you are too.⁣
