Summer Swimwear With Vera Bradley

***This collaboration is a paid partnership with Vera Bradley; however, all opinions are my own***

Hey y’all! I’m so excited to share my latest collaboration with you. I’ve partnered with Vera Bradley in order to showcase some of their lovely new swimwear! It’s all perfect for the summertime which is only a few weeks away! CAN YOU BELIVE?! I live in Georgia so I’m honestly not ready for the heat.

That being said, I’m ready to hit the pool and relax with Vera Bradley’s new collection! In this post, I rounded up all of the cute accessories they sent me along with the suit I chose! I also want to add how much I LOVE working with Vera Bradley. When I first started out with collaborations last September, they basically sent me a whole new room!

They always send the best quality products and are amazing to work with. I also really appreciate the fact that they give me so much creative freedom while shooting and allow me to be my natural self! (P.S. This was not asked of us to say, I just really really love working with this brand!)

Another fun part of this collaboration is that I WAS FEATURED ON THE VERA BRADLEY WEBSITE! They chose a few of us bloggers, let us select some of our fav items (as well as our fav suit!) and created a whole post about it that you can read (here)! Literally such a cool experience as I was obsessed with them growing up.

**Disclaimer: Please disregard my various farmer tans. I wore rompers to Disney every weekend so my skin tone is all over the place right now.***

Vera Bradley Swimsuit

The swimsuit I chose was this cute little reversible halter neck swimsuit! The opposite side of this little suit is POLKA DOTS. I forgot to shoot the reserve side because yah girl is busy, but I’m definitely going to be wearing it all summer so I’ll post that side of the suit at some point over the next few months!

My favorite detail of this suit is the lace panels on the side. I’ve been really into finding flattering bikinis because I have gained a little but of weight recently and I’ve been a little self conscious. The point that is has draws the eye in and really makes this suit look like perfection!

I also think that halter necks are flattering as well! The thing I really appreciate about them is that I can hide my armpit area. My chest is really spread apart and broad (TMI?) and so I’ very self conscious about that area too. This halter neck helps me to camouflage that area better.

The keyhole neckline of this little swimmy is perfect too! I have a smaller chest so a keyhole neckline honestly reveals nothing. It really elevates this basic black swimsuit to a new levels and offers a small detail to tie it all together! For sizing reference, I am wearing a size Medium and it fits perfectly!

Of course I had to have a photo showing off more of my suit! You can see the embroidered lace detail better in this shot. It comes to a point in the center of the suit and creates that flattering line! I also am LOVING how cute this towel is too.

It has an all over Vera Bradley not only has the best swimwear, they have fantastic accessories too! You can see my floral towel that’s throughout the last few pages. I also want to speak to the fact that this is the SOFTEST TOWEL I’VE EVER TOUCHED. I have super sensitive skin and sometimes normal terry cloth towels irritate my skin. Get this towel for sure!!

Vera Bradley Swimsuit, Flip Flops, Towel, and Sunglasses
This next photos shows off another Vera Bradley accessory! THESE CUTE SUNNIES! I’m always wary of sunglasses because they can look weird on my face at times. These are a little rounded which is my favorite type of sunglasses! I can’t do aviators ever because they’re too large for my face. If that’s how you are too, I suggest grabbing these!

I love this photo the best because it looks so tropical. I want to take time to shout out my sister right now for shooting these photos for me in the intense wind when she came to visit me in Florida in June. They’re so great and I love the content she was able to capture for me! I’m normally  one woman show, so it was fun just being able to pose for once.

Vera Bradley Summer Accessories

I’ve shown you guys everything I can about my look, so now I want to highlight even more accessories! Vera Bradley bags have been the one accessory I have always been true to. If you grew up when I did, Vera Bradley totes with the various patterns were THE hot commodity.

Every girl in my middle school had at least one of them! I would save up my allowance to buy them and my friends did too. I also wanted to keep my accessories themed and somewhat matching, so I chose these flip flops in the pattern Tossed Posies too! It’s the smaller print of my towel.

I showed my mom that Vera Bradley sent me some cute little koozies and she said “who uses koozies still?” My sister and I basically replied in unison “everyone who goes to the beach/pool and wants to show that they went.” So yah if that fits you get one of these perf little koozies! (Can you guess what I have in mine?) (P.S. It’s Coke obvi)

This one is adorable and says “With a Twist!” They also sent over one that says “Shell We Have Another?” Of course I am living for these little puns because dad jokes are my thing. They’re officially called drink huggers on the site though, but if you search koozie they’ll pop up too!

I wanted to round up my look for y’all to shop in case you’re as obsessed with it as I am! I love every piece of this swimwear ensemble and plan to wear it all summer. I also rounded up some other suits that Vera Bradley has on their site! Most come in various styles, so don’t let that stop you from clicking!

My sinus issues are finally starting to ease up but I SWEAR every time I go outside I feel like my face gets thicc. Happy for spring, NOT happy for the yellow mist of sadness 😔

I’m not sure if you’ve ever felt like this, bu I’m not sure if you’ve ever felt like this, but at every stage of my life I NEVER think my body is good enough. Wild right?⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Because then I’ll look back and WISH my body looked like it had in those old photos. I also watched a few TikToks this week about the fact that women have a “second puberty.”⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I have definitely noticed my body changing A LOT the past two years. I’ve gained weight in some good, and annoying areas, but this is NORMAL.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It’s normal to not have the same body you did when you were 18. So if you were like me, stop beating your self up about it. You are MAGNIFICENT the way you are! ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
This spring/summer I will be sharing outfits I’m comfortable in, but also ones that make me feel CONFIDENT and out of my comfort zone! I’m honestly so excited and hope you are too.⁣
