Hey loves! Everyone LOVED my Target Try-On Haul that I did yesterday morning. As I did with my Old Navy Spring Haul a few months ago, I wanted to make a blog post linking everything! Target has some of the cutest styles this spring and I wanted to show them to y’all!
If you follow along on my Instagram, you know that I LOVE Target more than almost anything. They always have such chic styles on a budget! The other thing I love is that I ALWAYS get free-shipping and 5% off because I have the Target REDCard. That’s not an ad, it’s just a literal life saver.
I wanted to start out by saying my sizing. With Target it’s a little bit different than most places. Target has different private label brands (i.e. A New Day, Who What Wear, Wild Fable, etc.). I take different sizes in each! I would normally start with a breakdown of what I took in each commodity, but I’ll just explain it for each item!
Chest (36in), Waist (27.5in), Hips (38.5in)
Target Spring Clothing Haul
1. Striped Blouse + Striped Shorts
This is probably my favorite little look from today’s try-on! I actually ended up buying this blazer last week and I styled it this morning. It’s super comfortable and it’s great for when it’s warmer out (which, if we’re being honest, it already is here in FL). I tried on a size 2 in the jacket and a size Medium in the shorts! I probably would’ve sized down to a size Small.
I love that Target created shorts in this style as well! They don’t come as an actual set, but that’s okay. I like that you can pick and choose, or just deicide on both! I’m honestly considering getting the shorts too because they’re really comfortable and will be wonderful for the parks.
2. Gingham Midi Dress
This is one of my try-on haul favorites! You guys adored this little gingham midi dress and I have to admit I do too. Gingham is one of my favorite patterns and I love the smaller print on this dress because it’s more flattering. The best part of it to me is the fact that it has a collar!
It makes it look a lot more professional and more akin to a dress blouse. The fact that it has a tie waist too is perfection! That helps make it more flattering to multiple body types. I tried on a size X-Small in this dress because in Target’s Who What Wear collection I generally wear an XS.
3. Yellow Romper with Tortoiseshell Buttons
This was another favorite! You guys loved the yellow color of this little romper and I did too. My two favorite parts of this romper are the fit of this and the tortoiseshell buttons. If you know me you know I love anything with tortoiseshell buttons. They make an entire outfit better!
The fit of this romper is the second thing I love. It’s more flattering than a lot of classic rompers and the structured neckline reminds me of the 1940’s! That time period is the best in my opinion, so I’m happy that I found this lovely little number! I tried on a size Medium in this romper.
4. Chunky White Sweater + Pink Tank + Jeans
I ADORE this look too! The blouson sleeve trend has been a favorite of mine for the lat few years. This little cropped cardigan is no exception! It was a really thick knit material which I thought would be great in the spring for really cold offices (like mine).
I also adored this pink embroidered tank! That being said, I couldn’t find it online to save my life. I did link a bunch of other cute tanks though! I hope those will suffice. These dark wash jeans from Target’s Wild Fable line are perfection and are ONLY $15.00!
When it comes to sizing, I took different sizes in all of these. This cardigan I tried on in a Medium as I did the tank! With the jeans, I decided to try on a size 4 and they ended up working great! I bought those today.
5. Lilac Belted Romper
Okay now I am SO OBSESSED WITH THIS ROMPER. I know that you guys loved this look the most, but again, I couldn’t find it online! I think it’s so new that Target doesn’t have it online yet. Pretty bummed, but I’ll keep checking back for it! I tried on this jumpsuit in a Medium and probably could’ve gone with a size Small.
I did find a bunch of other cute jumpsuits that I linked! I really like belted jumpsuits because they are super flattering and can work on a variety of body types. This one above had it even loop through the pockets which is a cool feature to me!
6. Striped Midi Dress with Tortoiseshell Buttons
Back at it again with the stripes! I love stripes as you all know. This dress was surprisingly thin, but not see-through! That’s one thing I always make sure to figure out before I purchase an item. This dress is one that I tried on in a Medium!
This little dress did just that, and has POCKETS. I honestly don’t buy anything without pockets at this point. The best part about it is that there are also tortoiseshell buttons as well! Three of my favorite things in one.
7. Striped Button-Up Top + Distressed Mom Jeans
Another amazing look from my try-on is this casual outfit! I was so shocked when I tried on this top and pair of pants because they were insanely soft. You don’t really expect jeans to be soft, but these were fantastic! I tried on a size Medium in the top and a size 4 in the mom jeans.
This striped shirt was the same way. It was shockingly soft and extremely comfortable! I loved pairing them together and I would’ve bought both if they had my size! I probably would’ve taken my normal size small in the top and went down to a size 2 in the jeans.
8. Pink Flutter Sleeve Top + Striped Asymmetrical Skirt
I adored this outfit because I feel like it was so different! I wanted to mix a very fun and flirty top with this more structured skirt. Pink is my favorite color and I think this one takes the cake! The flutter sleeves are the cutest I’ve ever seen.
This skirt, even though you can’t really tell, is asymmetrical and almost looks like someone took various scissors to it. In a cute way though! I love that it makes it look like the stripes go in various directions.
9. Striped Tank + Trench Skirt
This is the last of my try-on looks and another favorite of y’alls! I figured I’d try something different and look at this cute little trench skirt! I have a vest in almost this exact same material from Target too and it’s held up for years.
This tank is super cute and you can even see in the second mirror that there are buttons on the back! It’s a very thick material and really comfortable too! It’ll be great when it starts getting warmer. I tried on a size Medium in the tank top and a size Small in the skirt! I probably would’ve sized down on the skirt.
