The At Home Workouts I Have Been Loving

Hello everyone! Today I am so excited to share The At Home Workouts I Have Been Loving! We had a bunch of rainy days lately here in Atlanta, but I still want to be able to get in a good cardio workout. I was so excited when Jazzercise on Demand reached out to me to partner with them, because these at home workouts have been changing my life!

If you haven’t heard of Jazzercise On Demand, it is the digital platform brought to you by the original dance cardio workout, Jazzercise! They motivate, teach, and inspire while also offering a fun and unique way to get/stay in shape. I particularly love that they have various programs that give you a 10 min, 20 min, 30 min, or 40 min workout! Depending on the day, I have more or less time. This allows me to tailor the experience to me!

My Workout Background

There have been many times where I’ve searched things like “best cardio exercise for bad knees” or something to that effect. I played multiple running sport (i.e. soccer, track, and cross country) growing up, and that’s why cardio has always had a soft spot in my heart! I love workouts that get my blood pumping but that also help me tone up, get in shape, and stay healthy.

While in college, I tried to many workout classes! I had a few issues with them though. The first was that I had no rhythm for aggressive dance classes. The second issue was that because I had no rhythm, I was extremely self-conscious in front of that many people. I turned mostly to running and doing YouTube workouts in my tiny apartment bedroom.

I’m also one of those people that loves dancing even though they’re not as coordinated as they should be! Frankly, I don’t care though because dancing is an incredible way to reduce stress and improve your mood. This is 100% something I know I need right now, and I bet you do too!

My Jazzercise Workout Routine

The best part of Jazzercise on Demand is that I get all of that and more! My general workout routine is that I’ll start on the Jazzercise website and decide what I want to do that way. I usually try to balance doing cardio with doing more strength/core exercises. I try to do a dance session one day, and then a 10 minute ab session the next!

Every day I have a different amount of time that I’m able to spend on working out. Some days at work I get off a little bit later than others, so depending on that, that’s how long I spend! The best part of this website is that you can not only search by exercise type, but also by time. This is what really sets it apart as an online workout platform in my opinion.

Why I Love Jazzercise On Demand

I wanted to then explain why I love Jazzercise on Demand too! The features above are super amazing, but I also wanted to share why I personally love it. Sometimes it’s hard for me to discover good at home workouts without lots of equipment. There are so many awesome workouts that only require your own body!

It’s also kind of difficult finding workouts that I can do in my apartment (because I don’t want to be ~that loud upstairs neighbor~)! I feel like Jazzercise on Demand gives me the workouts that I want, without the struggle of trying to do it quietly.

Another great part of this platform is that they release new videos every week! You’re always going to be getting new content, and it’s only $19.99/month. This is cheaper than most gym memberships, and you get exclusive content! Such a steal in my opinion. The best part? With code “SSVIP” you can get your membership for only $15.99/month + a 14-Day Free Trial!

Easy Workouts for Beginners

If you’re interested in Jazzercise on Demand, I wanted to also share some of the easy workouts that I’ve found! They have the type of workout and the duration in the name so it should be easy to pick. These are a few that I have tried, and that just look fun to do!

  • DANCE MIXX 20
  • STRENGTH 20
  • EXPRESS 30
  • INTERVAL FUSION 20
  • STRIKE 40 (Kickboxing!!!)
  • DANCE MIXX 40
  • 10 MINUTE LEGS/GLUTES
  • 10 MINUTE CORE
  • 10 MINUTE ARMS/UPPER BODY

I also wanted to mention a super exciting opportunity that will start at the end of this week! If you sign up before September 25th, you get access to exclusive celebratory content which is only available from September 25-27, 2020!

There will be a 55-minute party-style dance cardio class taught by 5 of Jazzercise’s best FitPro instructors, a FitPro Instructor Q&A, and bloopers + other behind-the-scenes content! I think that will be especially hilarious because I know I have bloopers while working out.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! I’m so happy that I was able to partner with Jazzercise on Demand to share The At Home Workouts I Have Been Loving. Working out makes my physical and mental health better, and I’m so happy to celebrate their one-year anniversary! Be sure to find a neon workout fit, a tie dye scrunchie, and get your jazzercise on!

MY VICE PRESIDENT IS A BLACK WOMAN!!!! 🎉😭⁣ MY VICE PRESIDENT IS A BLACK WOMAN!!!! 🎉😭⁣
⁣
Four years ago was a very dark day for me. I was worried about immigrants, women’s rights, the climate, etc. I feared that irreversible damage would be done (and honestly some has).⁣
⁣
Today, today I have HOPE. I see a President that cares about the country, the climate, and our people. I see someone who wants to repair the damage that has been done and work towards a better future. ⁣

If you are pro-Trump, you cannot be pro-Martin Luther King Jr. ⁣

People love to separate MLK into this bucket where he fits their own idea of him. A “model” minority. Somehow they feel it makes them less racist and more of an “ally” to POC and it needs to stop. ⁣

“A man dies when he refuses to stand up for that which is right. A man dies when he refuses to stand up for justice. A man dies when he refuses to take a stand for that which is true.” — Dr Martin Luther King Jr⁣

Stop half assing your posts today (I’m calling out all of you who are saying “Happy MLK day loves!!!” like this is Valentine’s Day) and actually speak up for what matters. ⁣

5 PICTURE POSING TIPS! 📸 (Save This!!!!) ⁣
⁣
1. Throwing Your Scarf at the Camera - This adds depth and dimension to the shot + it’s just so cute!⁣
⁣
2. Looking Over Your Shoulder - I feel like I his pose is really chic and is always a 10/10! ⁣
⁣
3. Kicking Your Leg Back - I feel like this is just a really fun pose that people love seeing! ⁣
⁣
4. Leaning Against a Pole - (or using it as a balance) It mixes up the colors of a shot + adds more dimension to it! BONUS - helps you to balance in heels 😉⁣
⁣
5. “Walking” Across The Street - I honestly suck at looking natural while walking even if I’m literally walking (@hannahlozanophoto can attest to this). But when you get it right, it’s CUTE! ⁣

I’ve gained about 15 pounds this past year. But I’ve gained about 15 pounds this past year. But you know what? THAT’S OKAY! ⁣
⁣
Let’s make 2021 the year of loving yourself! ❤️ Your body has gotten you through almost an entire year of a pandemic. Gaining a little weight means NOTHING. ⁣
⁣
I feel like every year I make resolutions to lose weight or work out more. Every year I also always end up falling short of these goals. I also know I’m probably not the only one! ⁣
⁣
This year we need to be happy with the bodies we HAVE! Being healthy doesn’t have a size/weight limit. Love yourself, love your body, and everything else will fall into place! ⁣

I bought this tee a couple months ago and when deciding what to post today, I KNEW it had to be this. It’s been hard trying to put into words what seeing the Capitol stormed by terrorists feels like, but this is it.⁣
⁣
AOC and other Congressmen & women were trapped in a place that should’ve been one of the most heavily secure in the country. I feel like a lot of us are feeling lucky we haven’t had to experience that in our lives. ⁣
⁣
But this should’ve never happened. It can’t happen again. Not just that, but we now have members who have COVID because some of the Republican Congresspeople refused to wear masks. I am angry. You should be angry. ⁣
⁣
Something needs to change and it needs to change right now. Period. I thank our Congress for their courage and @aoc for always speaking out. ⁣I hope to be more like you!
