Spring is right around the corner! Or, in Florida, we skipped it and went right to summer. Georgia is pretty similar that way too! I am equally ready to have more daylight, but also not excited for the heat.
Amazon Fashion has been my go to for clothing for the last few months. Not only do they carry retailers like Steve Madden and Sole Society, but also affordable brands like Zaful and SheIn!
That being said, I have been LOVING Amazon Fashion’s spring/summer clothing! They have all the spring 2019 outfits and lots of spring outfits for women. All of the items are insanely chic and surprisingly well made. Whether you’re looking for a dress for a spring wedding, or just need one for church, this sophisticated little dress is perfect!
The Perfect Spring Dress from Amazon Fashion
Determining Sizing and Fit
I came across this dress on Amazon and was hesitant at first. Sometimes with Amazon Fashion items they can be hit or miss. Some third party sellers have AMAZING quality and other are sub par.
I say that based off of other people’s experiences, but I have never had a single issue with anything I’ve ordered! I always make sure to read reviews to get some perspective on sizing and fit.
The reviews seemed to say that you should go with your normal sizing or to go up just one size in case. I ended up going up one size and definitely think I would’ve been fine with my regular size!
I say this, but honestly this is a gorgeous dress and the fit is outstanding. Sizing down could’ve potentially made it to tight in the arms since it is a more stiff material (yet not uncomfortable)!
(This dress is ONLY $25.99)
It’s All In the Details
If you know me you know I LOVE pink more than anything. I almost hate how feminine I am sometimes, but I can’t help it! Pink is just such a bright and happy color and you can’t help but love it.
I also thought that going for a classic shift dress style would be a safe bet. That’s because even if the dress ended up being a little big, it would still look cute when worn! I couldn’t have been more correct.
You can also kind of see the inner slip of this dress in the photo below. I definitely love that this dress has an inner layer because your undergarments don’t show through AT ALL. I had on a white bra and you can’t even tell!
Okay now the pièce de résistance of this dress is OBVIOUSLY the sleeves *insert heart eye emoji*! I seriously thought the intricacies of the 3D embellishment on this dress were too gorgeous not to share! You can see how there’s not only embroidery, but also pom-poms that are supposed to replicate flower buds! They also are supposed to be the seeds of the flowers too which is just so cute to me.
To the side of the shot and near the bottom of the sleeve, you can see the actual chiffon flowers! YES. These sleeves literally have chiffon flowers on them. The fact that it’s that detailed and such great quality is amazing!
Accessorizing the Look
I really love this bag that is, shocker, ALSO from Amazon Fashion! The ring bag trend is one I can’t help but love. I’ve done multiple round-ups where I’ve included some and I can’t help it!
As you can see from the one below, it’s literally perfect. It’s a nice slate gray color and the ring/chain is a subtle shade of gold. Gold is my go-to metal when it comes to accessories so that was one thing that drew me to this bag.
I also appreciated that it has an adjustable strap! That’s always helpful because I like my bags to hit right at my hip for easy access to keys and such. This little crossbody is an accordion style which means it has multiple segments inside which works great!
When it came to shoes, I KNEW I was going to pair this dress with my platform espadrille sandals! These are from Sole Society and were in the huge Nordstrom Anniversary sale in August.
I dreamt of getting these shoes because they are TO DIE FOR and can go with almost any look. Luckily, I ended up finding them on Nordstrom Rack a few weeks ago for more than half off their retail price!
I scooped them up with all the quickness and have not regretted this decision. They’re extremely comfy, stay on your feet because of the thick strap, and don’t cause blisters! That’s something I always look for especially now that I go to Disney every weekend.
Shop the Look
Did you love this look? Well now you can shop it! I think this dress can work for any spring occasion you have and it’s not even a huge investment. The same goes for my crossbody bag! Amazon Fashion is the way to go for sure. Shop my look below:
I tried to find my Sole Society shoes for a cheaper price, but sadly they are sold out from certain retailers! If you don’t want to wait for a sale on their website, I suggest checking out Poshmark or eBay! Those are two place I always go to check for designer items at a lower price.
