Hi friends! Today is my first day back after my trip to Miami for my best friend Amber’s bachelorette trip. I was there from Thursday to Monday and had the absolute best time! I also planned a photoshoot in the Design District with a fellow blogger. It was such a great trip that I KNEW I needed to write an itinerary post about it! Today I’m sharing my 3 Days In Miami Itinerary for anyone also planning a trip!
We had things planned for a half day Friday, a full day for Saturday and Sunday, and a half day Monday! I ended up having a later flight to come home that day, so I was able to fit in one more fun restaurant for lunch. Be ready for lots of food, lots of fun activities, and all the ideas for your next trip! I’m also going to add in some ideas for other things to do that I would’ve done with more time.
I decided to write this post as if you are able to spend three full days in Miami. I think it’ll make it easier that way! This is based on proximity as well as time of day. For some of these places, it’s best to get there at a certain time because a lot of them do not take reservations! Keep that in mind when planning your trip.
Day 1: Wynwood Area
Day 1 of my 3 Days in Miami Itinerary post is all about Wynwood and the surrounding area! We ended up in this section of Miami a lot, and it really gets you in the mood to have fun. I love all the color, culture, and food in Wynwood, so if you traveled here for that, this is the area to see!
Breakfast – Yoko Matcha
Address: 2211 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127
Yoko Matcha was everything I could’ve ever wanted in a coffee shop. I personally LOVE matcha (for those who don’t know, it’s green tea powder that is really concentrated and blended into milk for lattes), but for those who don’t they have other great drink options too!
Regardless, you NEED to get the matcha croissant in the Instagram photo below. It has a matcha cream cheese on top (it doesn’t taste too much like matcha if you’re worried) and guava creme in the middle. I could’ve eaten three of these! I also ended up getting an iced matcha latte with lavender (ALSO AMAZING), but they have unique milk options like pistachio milk too!

Activity – Wynwood Walls
Address: 2520 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127
Wynwood is SUCH a lovely area. We ended up going to this area a few times, so I put everything located near here in one day! Wynwood Walls is the area in Miami where almost everything is covered in art! As someone who loves murals, it is everything. There are murals all over there area that you can take photos with, but if you want the true, Wynwood street art murals, there’s a section for those!
General tickets to this area are only $10.00/person, so if pictures are something you came for, then this is where you should go! Something I wish we could’ve done was yoga in the garden! It’s only $16.00, you get a relaxing workout, and then general admission to Wynwood as well. Something to consider for people who love to stay active on trips!

Lunch – La Sandwicherie
Address: 169 NW 23rd St Unit 102, Miami, FL 33127
We ended up not eating at this shop, but the sandwiches looked SO DELISH. I usually try to eat lighter for lunch time, so if you’re the same way, this is a great idea! They have homemade sandwich mixes, vegan options, salads, and croissants! The croissants have flavors like Banana, Pineapple, Mango, Papaya, and Nutella. If you are into flavor, this dessert option is for you!

Activity – Shop Around
Address: 2239 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127
There are so many cute shops in and around Wynwood! I know when I’m on vacation, I love to shop and/or get souvenirs. Obviously near the beach you’ll get all the classic and tacky souvenirs, but for more curated options from local artisans, check out the shops off the beaten path! On our last day here, we ended up shopping around this area for a couple hours.
My absolute FAVORITE place was Frangipani! It had everything from fun art prints, to unique kitchenware. Most of their products are handmade, sustainable, artistic, or just different from what you will find anywhere else! I got some stickers for my laptop and I can’t wait to add them to my repertory. Besides from this shop, there are at least 10-15 more!

Dinner – 1-800-Lucky
Address: 143 NW 23rd St, Miami, FL 33127
1-800 Lucky was such a fun spot to have dinner! We ended up going on our second night, but since it’s in the Wynwood area, I wanted to add it to the Day 1 itinerary. This is a partially open air space with multiple vendor stalls and various types of food! Between the eight people in my group, we got bao, sushi, ramen, and so much more.
The variety of food is crazy in this place, so even if people have various tastes, everyone will be able to find something here! All the stalls use buzzers so you can find a table or grab a drink while you wait. Probably my favorite thing was the fact that they have the little soft fish ice cream cones that you see all over Japan. I was too full to grab one, but I needed to let y’all know about this!

Drinks – Pilos Tequila Bar
Address: 158 NW 24th St, Miami, FL 33127
The Saturday night of our bachelorette trip was a night for us to go out! Normally I struggle to stay up past 11:30 even on the weekends, but if you wanted a recommendation for a bar, this is the one! I will say that the cover here was $30 which was a bit steep, but they played really great music and I was able to get a margarita with tajín on the rim so I was content.

Optional Ideas (Wynwood)
- R-House Drag Brunch
- Museum of Graffiti
- Veza Sur (Brewery)
- Plant The Future
Day 2: Design District
Day 2 of my Miami Itinerary is focused on the Design District! When traveling to Miami for this trip, I knew I wanted to have a photoshoot in this area. I also loved the events we had planned specifically for the bachelorette trip in this area too!
Coffee – Dior Cafe
Address: 162 NE 39th St, Miami, FL 33137
I said coffee only for this because it is EXPENSIVE. The experience and ambiance is everything you could want (and more), but unless you want to spend around $30-$40 per person, I would try going elsewhere for food. The classic Christian Dior coffee that they’re known for is here and it’s $14 just on it’s own. As someone with a fashion degree who loves designer, this was one of my fav places!
I want to add that this place was a MESS trying to get into. They don’t take reservations, so when we went around 1pm, they said the wait time would be about 2.5-3 hours. It’s a very small space, which explains why it takes so long! If you want to guarantee entry, be sure to wait outside a little before they open. That way you’ll beat the line!

Brunch – Swan & Bar Bevy
Address: 90 NE 39th St, Miami, FL 33137
I love a good brunch! Swan Miami was one of my favorite meals on the trip. I got the truffle omelette with ham and cheese and just WOW. I could’ve eaten three of them. It also came with a side of smashed potatoes and those were also fabulous. I ended up not getting a drink here, but everyone else did and they said it was very much worth it!
The inside of the restaurant was a 1960’s pastel paradise and the outside was akin to a tropical oasis! There is a cold menu as well as a hot menu. I loved that this was a thing because if you’re seated outside in the Miami heat, you will not want a hot burger (at least I wouldn’t)!

Activity – Aubi & Ramsa and Shopping
Address: 172 NE 41st St #3516, Miami, FL 33137
The Design District has so much shopping! If you came to Miami to buy luxury and/or just enjoy walking around gorgeous stores, then you’ll want to go here. Not only is there stunning art deco sculptures, there’s murals and gorgeous shop interiors too! We ended up getting a VIP tour at the Gucci shop because my friend was getting married and it was EVERYTHING.
On our second day we stumbled upon Aubi & Ramsa which was a 21+ ice cream bar! I ended up going with the esperesso martini flavor because I needed energy and I did not regret it. It was some of the best ice cream I’ve had and I also got a little buzz! They had more classic flavors as well as more sorbet themed ice creams. It was a great way to cool off in the afternoon!

Dinner – Mia Market
Address: 140 NE 39th St STE 241, Miami, FL 33137
Crepes, coffee, gnocchi, sushi, and tacos. If you want to eat at a place with it ALL, then you need to check out Mia Market! It’s located on the second floor of the Design District near Tailor House. It’s a chef-driven food hall featuring a local food and beverages! We went here for lunch on Friday and I ended up going to the Tran An stall and getting vermicelli. This was a relatively affordable meal, but they do have FREE WATER so do not buy one.

Optional Ideas (Design District)
- Miami Boat Tour
- De La Cruz Collection
- The Haitian Heritage Museum
Day 3: South Beach Area
We’ve made it to Day 3 of our Miami travel guide blog post! This say will be all about South Beach. We ended up here a few times, so I wanted to focus an entire day on this area! Traffic from the Wynwood area to this area is about 25-40 minutes depending on the day and time of day, so if you’re planning to visit Miami, I would stay in an area other than this one.
Brunch – Bacon Bitch
Address: 1001 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
One of the brunches we had on my trip was a drag brunch at R House. It was fab and the food was just as good as the drag show. I was looking up brunch places in South Beach, and I saw a place called “Bacon Bitch.” If we had had another day in Miami, I can PROMISE you I would’ve gone here. Their sandwiches look delicious and I am always on board for bacon in my food.

Activity – Nikki Beach
Address: 1 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Nikki Beach is the beach of all beaches! If you are planning to go to the beach while in Miami, then Nikki Beach is the one to check out! It has luxurious day beds, unique lunch options, and creative cocktails. Not to mention the classic teepee you can sit under! I personally like to sit in luxury when I’m on the beach, but if that’s not your forte, that’s okay too.
Nikki Beach ended up being closed for swim week the day we tried to go, so we ended up just walking over to the public access area right next to it! Honestly we still had such a great time just relaxing in the sand and going in the water. Even if you aren’t able to go to Nikki Beach specifically, definitely make time to go to the beach in general.

Dinner – Versace Mansion
Address: 1116 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139
One of the coolest parts of this trip was getting to go to the Versace Mansion! I was a fashion major in college and have always loved everything associated with the fashion industry. The Versace Mansion was really exciting to check out in person because it holds all the history of Gianni Versace! Haven’t heard about it? Watch the documentary on Netflix before your trip!
We had planned on having dinner here, but we had to cancel our reservation due to swim week. That said, we were still able to get drinks from the bar, hang out, and take photos here! They do take reservations, so make sure to plan ahead if this is a place you want to add to your list.

Drinks – Gitano Miami
Address: 3500 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33140
Gitano Miami is a tropical oasis with a dining room, multiple outdoor terraces, bar and lounge, and rooftop terrace, all inspired by the tropical jungles of Tulum! We weren’t able to visit on our trip, but it was on our list as something fun to do! I added this as a drinks option after the Versace Mansion, but you can also get dinner here too! Just thought this would be a great way to be able to go to ALL places in South Beach.
