When I asked what topics you guys wanted me to discuss in the new year I had a BUNCH of people ask for more workwear inspired posts! Since I’ll be interning with Disney I’m going to be wearing a lot of more professional looks. That being said, you know I have to bring my own flair to them!
I decided I would create this post to show you guys 3 Feminine Ways to Style a Masculine Blazer! Wearing blazers is one of my favorite things because I really just feel like a girlboss that I can conquer anything. I hope the looks I style help you to feel the same way!
3 Feminine Ways to Style A Blazer
1. Oversized Blazer + Polka Dot Dress
I love the oversized blazer trend so much! It’s a unique way to show your style while at work. This navy blue blazer is from Forever 21 and I actually found it on sale! I loved that it was a little bit larger because I also thought this would allow me to wear it over sweaters too.
When it comes to my dress, this cute polka dot ruffle dress is one I found on Amazon! I thought it was the perfect dress to pair under this blazer because it was super feminine. It seriously helped to elevate this look from a more masculine style.
For my shoes y’all KNOW I had to add in some sparkle. I saw these chic little block heels at Old Navy during the holiday season and I tried to stay away. You can see that I obviously couldn’t! They were affordable and could work with literally any outfit so I scooped them up before they sold out.
2. White Blazer + Polka Dot Pants
This next look is a massive favorite of mine! I LOVE how all the colors work together. I’ve been so much more into neutrals lately which is crazy because I am a colorful person! Pops of color are what I’ve shifted into adding to my looks.
For this outfit, my pop of color is these adorable pink velvet bow tie flats from J.Crew! I love velvet shoes and clothes. They’re so unique and add a flair to any outfit you’re wearing.
When it comes to my polka dot pants, I also found these lovelies at Old Navy. I got them on Black Friday for just $14 and honestly wish I had gotten them in other colors. They’re comfortable, look professional, and can fit so many body types.
My blazer is one I found at Ann Taylor LOFT and I chose it because I honesty have no white clothing in my closet. I thought it would be a different take for me and I was right! My tee from Thread Tank says “Get Up. Be Awesome. Repeat.” Which is basically what I live for every day.
3. Pink Oversized Blazer + Gingham Dress
I got this pink blazer in the mail from Forever 21 and now I want to wear it all day every day. Anything pink is honestly my go-to and I can’t help it! It’s also an oversized style and that’s something I look for now. They’re so easy to style in so many ways.
I also paired this blazer with a dress, but this time it’s a gingham midi dress from LOFT Outlet! You can all probably tell by now that gingham is a trend I love too. I also adore this dress in particular because of the ruffle hem!
For my accessories, I have a skinny gold belt. I thought this would be a clever way to make an oversized blazer more feminine! It cinches the waist and makes any outfit more flattering. Since this dress already goes in at the waist, the combination of the belt and the dress is very feminine and flattering.
For my shoes, I decided to throw in some beige block heels from Target! I literally love these for any work situation because they’re just such a chic and affordable option. The ones I found here I’ve had since this past summer in New York and fit TTS!
