If you know me you know my favorite season in the world is FALL! I literally love everything about it. The leave changing, the pumpkin spice everything (basic I know), THE COLD WATHER, it makes my heart soar. I have partnered with The Pink Lily Boutique to show you guys how I have styled their sweaters for the fall!
They kindly gifted me three of the cutest sweaters and I couldn’t be happier to share them with you guys! These are some pieces that I know I’ll wear all throughout the fall and that are light enough to wear now before the temps get really cool. That’s a feature I always look for living in the south.
For anyone who is ready for it to be fall, or if you’re a fan of color, stripes, or pink, this is the post for you! Keep reading to check out Three Unique Ways to Wear Sweaters This Fall.
1. Pink Striped Sleeve Sweater + White Jeans
This first look is one that is THE transitional look from summer to fall. I saw this sweater and immediately knew it was the one I needed to choose. If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know pink is my THING. I also love anything with a pattern and stripes are my biggest weakness. This is more of a tunic style sweater, that’s why I tied it!
I decided I would show this sweater worn with white jeans for two reasons. The first was that if you believe we shouldn’t wear white after labor day, you have a few weeks left to style sweaters with white jeans! The second is that if you don’t care about wearing white after labor day, you can wear these for a couple months to come!
For my accessories, I paired my look with this perfect fedora! I actually found this one at the Target dollar spot a couple years ago for only $5, but I found one on Amazon for under $20! I think fedora’s are the perfect hat for the fall time because they can match with anything and give so many cozy vibes.
My bag and shoes are also both from Target too! I generally get my bags from Target because they’re affordable. I am an agressive person by accident and always end up breaking and/or ripping things so this is good for me! My block heels are one I ALWAYS wear to work in black. They’re under $25 and can be dressed up or down!
2. Striped Sweater + Busted Knee Jeans
This second look is also so chic and great for fall! I knew I wanted to get at least one sweater that’s a tad more heavy than the others. This was that sweater! It’s a nice and thick material, but doesn’t itch like wool does. I have really sensitive skin, so this is a huge determining factor for me!
My jeans for this look are a pair of Free People busted knee jeans that I found at, wait for it, Plato’s Closet! They were only $20 there and in mint condition. I love the busted knee look and died when I found this pair. I generally cuff my jeans when I wear any shoes that aren’t mules (as you can see above)!
For my accessories, I am actually SO excited to share them for this look. My booties are the pair that I have had for over a year now. They are from Target and I could not have picked a better shoe to buy! These babies walked over 100 miles in the streets of NYC last summer and still look amazing. (P.S. They’re still in stock and under $35!)
My headband is actually set of three that is only $9.99! I was so excited to find them because they’re so cute and will match so many outfits for the fall. This headband ended up having the EXACT green and gray in my sweater. My bag was gifted to me by Melie Bianco and it works so well with my shoes!
3. Mauve Sharkbite Sweater + Metallic Pleated Skirt
Now, I present, my favorite look of them all! I am so obsessed with this sharkbite sweater trend that has continued from last year into this one. I was in love with a white sharkbite sweater I had last season, now I have this mauve shade too! The raw edge is a little hidden in this photo, but it’s cute tucked in or left out. It also can easily make it an off-the-shoulder sweater!
Whenever I post this skirt everyone freaks out and asks where it’s from. Well, I made it! Hobby Lobby had this gorgeous fabric two years ago for Christmastime and I immediately purchased. All it needed was one stitch up the back and I was good to go! It works sooo well in every single season and makes any outfit look more elegant.
My shoes are another past favorite of mine! I bought them while in NYC last summer (full-price are you shocked?) and have loved them since! These are another great transitional piece because they are backless booties! They allow your feet to breathe while still exuding a fall essence.
When it comes to my hat, I am really in love with fedoras as I said above! This one is just a plain taupe color, and is also less than $20 on Amazon! I wore it last fall and also have been wearing it a lot this year too. My bag is another lovely Amazon find and it is such a cute saddle bag shape!
