Ever since I found the perfect pair of mom jeans at American Eagle, I have been OBSESSED with wearing them! They’re not only comfortable, but they also look great with almost anything.
Today I rounded up 3 Chic Ways to Style Mom Jeans! Now that it’s the springtime, it’s time to pull out your favorite pair and live your best life. These I have actually worn to Disney before and they were STILL comfortable.
I also love that they have ripped knees (but not a lot of rips elsewhere). I personally hate jeans that have rips by my upper thighs because it’s very uncomfortable. These mom jeans have the rips in the best place…at the knee! Keep reading to see the three ways that I style mom jeans and see why I love this pair SO MUCH!
3 Chic Ways to Style Mom Jeans
1. Graphic Tee + Moto Jacket
Yes I wore this outfit just for the premiere of Avengers End Game and I have ZERO SHAME. I found this cute little Captain Marvel graphic tee at Old Navy and couldn’t love it any more than I do. A great way to style mom jeans is with a graphic tee!
This one for me was a no brainer because this tee is vintage looking and so are my jeans. They really make me feel like I’m straight out of that movie! I was also inspired by one of my friends to show y’all that black and brown can DEF work together and in this case you can’t lie, they pair perfectly!
I got this moto jacket as a gift in a collab with Sugarlips! It’s almost a crushed suede if that’s a thing. I love that is has a belt! It’s not one of those extremely long belts either which I appreciate. My shoes are from my favorite place, Target! I’ve now had them for over a year and they withstood three months of walking around NYC this summer.
These cute little sunnies are some that I actually got in a set from Amazon. I think there are Chloe sunglasses that are around $200 that look like these, but these dupes are affordable but still chic! It’s a win win if you ask me *winks*.
2. Graphic Tee + Trench Vest
So I did pull out another graphic tee, but they’re the best things to pair with mom jeans I swear! This graphic tee is my ultimate favorite because it has a graphic drawing of Oprah Winfrey and Anna Wintour and they’re high-fiving. It then says “win-win” LOL.
I get it I’m lame and like lame puns it’s fine. Those are just two of my favorite #bossbabes so it made this pun the best out of all of them! I also just did a french tuck (thanks Tan) with this tee into my jeans and I don’t think it could’ve turned out better. I like this shot because you can actually see the little ripped fringe on the jeans!
Trench vests are one of my spring staples. The reason being that they’re not as heavy as a full-sized trench coat, but still exude a sense of sophistication! This one also comes with a little belt and, of course, has pockets! There’s nothing I hate more than a jacket with fake pockets. Like why would you get my hopes up like that?
To accessorize this look, I threw on my classic gray crossbody bag from Amazon (even though you can’t see it). It’s such an easy bag to just grab and go with! My shoes are a pair I found at Payless for $5, but J.Crew has a super similar pair!
3. Plain White Tee + Velvet Block Heels
This last way to style mom jeans is just a casual classic of mine! I knew that I wanted my first outfit ever in these jeans to just be a regular white tee combo. I could never go back after I styled this look though! I was sold.
I love love love everything about how effortless this looks. Yes, I know this is technically another white t-shirt. You can totally see how different these three looks are though! This one errs more on the side of casual for just a walk around the mall (which I wore it for, go figure).
These pink velvet block heels are always a follower favorite and I knew I had to throw them on! I love taking a casual looks and adding a pair of heels to make it a bit more refined. Adding these heels took this from just a casual look to Parisian chic! That might be a stretch, but that’s seriously how I feel.
My little round rattan bag is one that I found on Amazon as well! It’s a nice, woven material and pretty durable if you ask me. It’s dealt with Disney parks and me throwing it around my car during outfit changes and it’s still in perfect condition!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post! I had so much fun writing it and I hope you love mom jeans as much as I do. I linked all of my outfits above and so I hope you were able to find some new pieces you love. These mom jeans from America Eagle changed my life and I’ll never go back! I am wearing a size 4 and my waist is 27in and hips are 38.5in!
These are just a few ways I’ve styled my mom jeans since I got them about a month ago. Since it’s already hot in Florida, this was more of a spring round up. I might try to do a fall/winter version of this in a few months (well, a little more than a few) once it gets cooler in Georgia!
