I have now been working from home for about two months! It seems crazy to say, but self-quarantining has definitely been an experience. I’ve taken social distancing very seriously and for an introvert for me it has been a lot easier than I thought! Today on the blog I wanted to round up Working From Home Loungewear Under $100 that I have been living in for the past 8 weeks.
I LOVE to be comfortable. No matter where I’m at, I hate feeling like my clothes are squeezing me or are too scratchy! Since I’ve been at home literally 24/7, I’ve been even more on the lookout for cozy clothing! From fuzzy slippers to chic blue light glasses, these are the essentials I have been raving about. I took a poll on my Instagram stories on Monday and y’all were very interested in this topic as well! I hope these loungewear pieces are ones you can add to your closet.
1. Sunwashed Desert Hoodie // 2. Tortoiseshell Blue Light Glasses // 3. Solid Headband Hair Wrap // 4. Leopard Print Bike Short // 5. Faux Fur Slippers // 6. Essie Nail Polish // 7. Ribbed Bralette // 8. Skinny Sweatpants // 9. Over the Knee Socks // 10. Unlined Lace Bra // 11. Tie Dye Sweatshirt // 12. Soft Short // 13. Purity Pore Mask // 14. Metallic Scrunchies // 15. Gray Robe
For this post, I decided to share all my working from home loungewear finds at the beginning! I then thought it would be a fun idea to explain the trends I’m loving in loungewear and then share some additional items in that category that I’ve discovered. I also wanted to add that as the title says, everything is under $100, but actually most are under $50! All are super affordable and all are super comfortable.
Pullover Hoodie
The first item I chose for my loungewear roundup was this comfy little pullover hoodie! I am obsessed with everything Aerie and this hoodie is no exception. I love the fact that it has a slightly distressed hem and some thicker ribbon for the ties. The best part is that it’s longer, but has side slits! If you have wider hips like me, you’ll still be able to wear it. I also wanted to round up some other comfy pullover hoodies below:
Blue Light Glasses
Okay blue light glasses are not necessarily “loungewear,” but I can’t exist working from home without them! For those of you who don’t know, blue light glasses are amazing to wear if you work in front of a computer. They block the blue light from computer screens and keep it from hurting your eyes! I personally keep a pair at my desk at work and then have another pair at home for when I’m working on my blog. Shop some that I’ve found below:

Head Wrap
When I first started working from home, I really tried to make sure my hair looked amazing every single day. I then realized it didn’t really matter because I could just throw it up with a head wrap/hair band and it would be fine! I love thicker hair wraps because they’re able to pull in the shorter hairs at the front of my head up. I rounded up some more basic ones that can work for running AND some that are a little more sophisticated! Shop them below:
Biker Shorts
Okay I’m not sure where I fall when it comes to biker shorts to be honest. I have tried them on myself and they DO NOT WORK. That being said, when I see other people wear them they look so cute! I love me some patterns and leopard print is my #1 favorite. These little shorts are affordable and will keep you comfy while you’re staying inside. To shop some other bike shorts for women, see my picks below:
Faux Fur Slippers
I love me some slippers! I have had some form of the slippers I featured for about three years now. When I worked at LOFT in college, they created a very similar pair to this. Then when I interned with Lou & Grey, I was able to score a pair of the cute EMU Australia slippers below! No matter what style you get, faux fur slippers are so cozy and make me feel more comfortable while being at home. Shop some of my fav styles below:
Essie Nail Polish
I am probably the only girl on the planet who doesn’t routinely get her nails done at a salon. My mom is very frugal and honestly I’m thankful she raised me to be that way too! Even though I don’t get my nails professionally done, I still like (at least) my toes to have color. I discovered Essie Gel Couture polish and have never gone back! It lasts 1-2 months on my toes and on my nails it lasts around 2 weeks. Shop some chic shades that I’ve been loving below:
Ribbed Cami Top
Although I’m not the type of person who enjoys wearing tank tops out (I have a thing with my upper arms), I love wearing them at home! They’re so comfortable to just throw on with some sweatpants and a cardigan, or with some cute pajama shorts. The ribbed cami top that I featured is from Aerie and I think it’s the perfect piece of loungewear to add to your closet. Shop some other camis/lounge tanks below:
Skinny Sweatpants
The next item I wanted to share were these women’s lounge pants with pockets! I love me some skinny joggers because they are more fitted and a little more elevated than just a regular pair of sweatpants. When I think loungewear, my brain immediately goes to cozy pants! I knew I wanted to pick a pair that was affordable, comfy, and a lovely color too. Shop the pair I added above and some other fun leisure pants below:
Over the Knee Knit Socks
My sister and I have always been massive lovers of socks! It seems hilarious to say, but patterned socks are so unique and fun to play with. I love having really fuzzy socks on when I’m at home and especially love when it’s a cool morning and I can have a pair on! Over the knee socks are a fun way to be comfortable while working from home. I love wearing some sleep shorts and then having the socks on too! Shop some other fun socks below:
Lace Bra
This might be forward, but I don’t really like wearing a bra when I’m at home! They aren’t the most comfortable, but I feel weird not having one on as I’m working. I love wearing a lace bra/bralette with a nice v-neck tee or an oversized sweater! They add an extra little dimension of flirty to any look and I think a black lace bra or white bralette one especially works really nicely. Shop some other lace bras/bralettes below:
Tie Dye Sweatshirt
I didn’t know how to feel at first, but I really love the tie dye hoodie and sweatshirt trend! I personally am more into subtle tie dye in more pastel tones than I am a bright rainbow tie dye. That said, all of them are fun! If you’ve been a fan of this trend, I think it’s a really exciting way to spruce up your loungewear wardrobe. The one I featured is more demure and from Madewell, but I also listed some more colorful ones below:
Lounge Shorts
I love love love lounge shorts! It’s the one thing I have been obsessively wearing since we started self-quarantining. Since most of my meetings are from the waist up, it’s fine to just wear them while I work! The ones I love the best have little llamas on them. Whether you decide to grab some patterned ones like me, or just wear some that are silk, these are a loungewear must-have! Shop some of my favorite lounge shorts for women below:
Face Mask
I am a firm believer that you should use a face mask at least once a week! The one that I featured was a Purity Pore Extractor mask. It’s great for normal, dry, combination, and oily skin! This is something I look for because my combination skin causes so many issues day to day. I love masks that minimize pores and brighten skin because those are two things that I want! A Pack of Scrunchies
I basically have 1000 scrunchies and hair ties just laying around my apartment. I honestly think most women do! I really like Teleties for my general hair ties (they keep my curls in tact and don’t leave aggressive lines), but scrunchies are so fun for just throwing my hair up while I’m working! The greatest part is that there are so many types of scrunchies that you can find to match what you’re looking for. Shop some below:
Gray Bathrobe
The last item I rounded up for this loungewear post was a gray bathrobe! I love just lounging around in a bathrobe on the weekends and relaxing. The ones I featured was from H&M and it’s just so comfy to me! I particularly love a wrap bathrobe that has a tie waist because it stays together a little bit better when you’re moving around. Shop some other cozy gray bathrobes below:
